This shredder is identical to a unit my wife bought from another office supplier about a year ago. Her shredder has been reliable, and still works fine. I use the new one I got from Quill daily, and it does the job well. The thing I like most about the shredder is how quiet it is. The thing I like least is that the shredder turns itself off after a certain amount of time of non-use, requiring me to press the power button every time I need to shred something. I guess this a a "green" feature, but all my previous shredders automatically powered up as soon as I inserted the paper to be shredded.

My Friend is quite happy with this shredder...likes how 'fine' it shreds compared to his old one...it was delivered quickly and in good shape. Since he deals with some very personal information for others, he is impressed with the fineness of the shredding. I am happy that it does such a good job and that he is happy owning the machine.

I really like this shredder. Works great and isn't loud. The On/Off button is a little different.. you need to press down a bit hard and hold for a second or two... but otherwise, great shredder.
