I am a Mobile Notary Signing Agent, This shredder works quickly and powerfully to shred the unfortunate stacks of papers that sometimes get cancelled, or are wrong and need to be shredded. Usually 300 pages at a time end up going to the shredder.

I wouldn't recommend this product as it took a long time to ship, then the auto turn off function did not work, then getting it replaced took weeks.... not really thrilled with this particular experience.

Good power. Fairly quiet. Could use a better slot formation to receive paper easier, when performing a lot of shredding. Unfortunately, the opening in the back of the bin reduces the bin size/capacity. Would be great not to have to oil the cutters. Overheated on me once when shredding for about 15 min.

This was a nice shredder at a great deal, but unfortunately didn't work. The door wouldn't stay closed so the shredder would shut off automatically. It was very frustrating, I almost put a piece of duct tape on the shredder door to keep it shut. I sent the shredder back to Quill after two days of using it.

First unit purchased only worked a few minutes. It shredded two sheets of paper, but when we tried four sheets it jammed and we were unable to get it unjammed. The unit was frozen. Sent it back...
Second unit purchased worked fine for two days and then simply died. The power would not come back on. Sent it back...

I love the quietness of this shredder. Paper feeds through it quickly and I don't have to pull out staples before shredding. It is messy to empty and the small paper pieces fall out of the back on the unit while it shreds, creating a mess in the bottom of the bin.
