Comments about RCA 4-Line Corded Expandable Phone System; With Caller ID:
Can't use the base and remote simultaneously! that means, if someone is on the base, the second phone is useless. Not a good feature.

purchased the phone after shopping around and comparing features option and reviews on several systems and models . I spoke with a techy friend in the communication industry . I explained what I was looking for to open up my small business. We discussed options features and need and found that the RCA system would delive all that i was looking for and then aditional features i would also find helpful. I ordered and had delived the system and had set up and working almost right out of the box. The 24/7 tech support was super helpful in the minor issue set up issue I had . Thanks .

i shopped around for a new phone system, check with vendors and options. I was given several options to consider and features avaible. I shared what i was looking fro with a sales person @ the local store . He sent another rep that had used this phone system who had product knowledge . He LISTENED to what i was looking for and suggested the system because of features and ease of use . He also stated that 24/7 tech support with live reps from the manufactor . So far store rep and the 24/7 tech support have delivered as stated . I have used only 3 days and like it well Thanks
4-line Phone Not what expected

Misunderstood the "expands to 16 stations". Does not mean 16 handsets. Disappointed that only ONE handset would work per land station (needed 3 handsets for one base station) because of the large "transmitter" box that attaches to the base phone. But due to good price, bought a second land station & handset, ending up with 2 bases & 2 handsets. Was looking to save desk space& mobility with the handsets. All in all, it still cost less than a larger system.
Great audio, easy to use

Bought this phone as a replacement to AT&T 2 line desk phone. This phone feels heavier off the start - but that doesn't really matter I guess, but the sound quality is excellent and the features are simple to use. Very elegant design and I like the blue LCD screen. I recommend for home office users that want conference calls to sound like a very expensive Polycom unit. I didn't go to the store thinking I would walk away with a RCA brand phone (ever), but I did and I am simply sharing my pleasant surprise with you all.
We like them!

Having an existing four line system, we just matched the lines to the new phone, which made it easy. Important to use the NEW power cord and not the old, though, as this did not work. LOVED that these phones set their own date and time! All in all, good value for the money.
Great Phone for the price

Needy Phone

As a company with three employees constantly on the phone and interacting with each other, it would be so nice if we had a functional intercom system so my superiors would stop yelling across the building at each other. This phone did NOT fix that issue. I would love to be able to be working while having my customer on speakerphone. These speakerphones are not functional. When I place a customer on speaker, it goes very, very quiet. I cannot hear any sound coming out of the speaker. 20 seconds in, it will suddenly spring to an appropriate volume, only to cut out and mute out again. Very frustrating and needy as it requires me to sit right by the phone while I'm making calls all day.
It's worth to try

Sometimes when the battery is inside the base, the keypad refuses to work although i can hear a Dial tone. hopefully this is a solvable issue.
