Compared to my old Panasonic the phone itself feels too lightweight, but so did the others I tried. It didn't take long to get used to the features and how to use them. I like the battery backup and cord for our business. They work when there's no power which was the case with my old phone during Superstorm Sandy

        I had to exchange this phone twice. The first time was because Line 2 was nothing but static and we couldn't hear the person. And this time is because the base phone was not working. We could hear the people on the other line but they couldn't hear us. This is a horrible phone and I am glad to be getting rid of it.

          Worked fine for about a week and then there was so much static on one line that I couldn't use it. I called RCA numerous times over the next 4 days trying to get it resolved. Finally after following all their instructions they admitted that it was the phone, not my wiring or set up. Then they wanted me to wait another 7 to 10 days to replace it - only after I had to give them my credit card number so they could charge me if I didn't return the one that didn't work (at my expense). I will NEVER buy another RCA product of any kind. If they don't back their products any better than that, I don't want it.
