I purchased the base and one extra handset as I was told by the associate at Staples that in order to use the two line feature, you needed both. You do not. Just the base would have worked. I also was told I needed to purchase a second phone cord to go from the phone to the jack. Didn't need that either. I did keep the second handset, although it is not necessary. Set up was ok, I did have to call the manufacturer as the handset would not connect to the base. Overall, it's an ok product. The features are not always that easy to use. I find myself constantly looking in the manual. Occasionally, the answering machine automatically turns it self on to default message instead of the message I recorded. This is inconvenient as I use the phone for business and when this happens my customers are unsure of who they are calling. For what I spent on the phone and the hand set, I don't think it's the best quality.

bought because it was on sale and was a 2 line cordless. Also because it wa different than the brands on the other 2 lines in the office so it would not interfere with the signal for the other phones. I will be taking it back for a replacement - we will see how a new one works - it may have been a defective unit

I'M SORRY I BOUGHT THIS SYSTEM!! YOU CAN'T READ THE FUNCTIONS AS LETTERS ARE TOO, TOO SMALL!!! CHANGE BACKLITE COLOR, BLUE IS NOT GOOD. USE ORANGE, YELLOW OR WHITE. HELP, NEED EXCHANGE FOR DIFFERENT MODEL.
WE'RE GOING BLIND READING THESE LETTERS.

It's too complicated to make a call using a number stored in the directory. The instructions are generally acceptable, but they aren't as clear as they culd be.

The only thing I really do not like about this is sometimes when you push the numbers to dial, they do not always take the first time.

Also you have to wait 15 to 20 seconds to speak when called there is a delay
