When the kids were home, the ink jet we had got a work out every day. Now that they are grown and out of college,the ink jet just sits, uses ink doing nothing and is clogged all the time. This networkable laser solves all problems. Fast, efficient, low cost replacement toner and drums, fast first page, always ready, never clogged. If I am doing a project in the living room, I just pick it up and move it, as the wireless keeps me connected. It is a bit noisier than expected but faster than expected, especially the first page out. Definitely a great buy. I always buy Brother refurbs for maximum savings.

We just purchased this printer for our small office. The one complaint I read on other comments was the difficulty setting this printer up. I just followed the instructions and it went smoothly. If you are going wireless you have to be knowledgeable about your wireless router otherwise it can be difficult to set up. This printer is quick printing and the pages are clear.

I was attracted by the superb mix of features, and also because I have an older Brother laser printer and it has given great service. We are visiting a friend and needed a printer, so I looked at the cheapest one, about $60, and then found this one. For a few dollars more, you get duplex printing and network capable. What a deal!
