Brother times it's machines so you have to replace LARGE components at certain time periods, after so many copies...and once you replace one item, the thing NEVER works the same again. Also the tray they require you to replace (holds the ink) costs close to $300. and the printer would spill ink over EVERYTHING after it was replaced. Replaced AGAIN..did same thing. THREW PRINTER AWAY! TRASH, Junk all because of a stupid timer Brother puts in.

This printer for the price has many more features and options than comparable competitors. It has been by far the easiest printer to set up and put into action that I have ever dealt with. The installation pretty much ran itself with minimal interaction. Once all the settings were in place and configured it has stayed online and not dropped off intermittantly as many of the bigger brands do. My only complaint is that the color print quality is a bit behind the standards. It is still good and plenty for home use but lacks the clarity and brillance required for professional output. For the price it is most definently worth every penny.
