The ribbon cartridge will not stay locked down, therefore, when it pops up, nothing prints on the paper. Have tried many times to reposition it, but it still does not hold.

How much more can I say about typewriter ribbons?I use typewriter to type lease forms for husband, among other things. Adler-Royal 246 is the onlyribbon I can use on electric Adler-Royal Satellite 8 and has always proved exceptional.Also bought a [$] rug protector to place under wheeled office chair, a great improvement over previous one, especially having handles on sides which make it easy to carry and install.
