                I use this in my Panasonic dot matrix printer. Once a week I write several checks. This ribbon has vivid black ink, but it smudges and smears all over the page as the printer head moves back and forth. I have examined the installation, the head, and the movement. I don't believe the problem is with my printer. I think the problem is with the ribbon itself. I would gladly pay more for a name-brand item if it would help to give me a nice crisp printing job.

                      I ordered two of these ribbons on April 19. Today is May 6 and both of the ribbons are JUNK!! I wouldn't recommend this product to ANYONE!
