Want to know more about Shop Copy & Printer Paper

Is copy paper and printer paper the same?

Copy paper is thinner and thereby less expensive than printer paper. And if you're only printing text, it won't make much of a difference which paper you use.

Does it matter what paper I use for my printer?

You can safely use copy paper or printer paper in your printer, but the quality difference will be noticeable if you're printing images. Inkjet or laser printer paper is best for printing images, while copy paper is just fine if your documents will be text-only.

What is the most common copy paper?

The most common copy paper is 20 lb. bond with a 92 brightness in size 8.5" x 11". This is sometimes referred to as everyday copy paper. At Quill, we sell copy paper in 10-ream cases or cartons so you can easily stock up for your workplace and save on your cost per sheet.

What is the difference between copy paper and inkjet paper?

The main difference between copy paper and inkjet paper is that inkjet paper is specially coated to prevent ink from absorbing and spreading. Printing images from an inkjet printer on copy paper may lead to bleedthrough and soggy pages.
