About Me Midrange Shopper
Comments about Rubbermaid Classic Hot File Magnetic Pocket:
This product comes with double sided tape to attach the magnets and name plate. I followed all directions. The tape doesn't stick, if you try to move the pocket, the magnets come off. The name plat doesn't stick either. It is pretty useless as of right now. I am going to try to repair wth super glue, but I would not recommend this product.

Fit our needs well. We needed a magnetic file holder and there are not many to choose from. There are a lot of one that attach w/ screws but we needed magnetic so we paid the higher price
Junk

This is very flimsy. Bought because of the Rubbermaid name. Would never buy it again.
Low Quality, poor construction, costly

This was the lowest quality file hanger I've ever seen, it appears with every redesign Rubbermaid figures it would be wise to remove more plastic and make it less sturdy! This hanger has only 3 sides, you can't really fill it all the way before it becomes unstable or the magnets don't hold. At the time it was [$] Buy one with a back, and thicker plastic, this is a piece of junk especially at the price.

definitely NOT Rubbermaid quality
By dissapointed
has no back to it so it relies on the object it is attached to for support of the files dropped into it. Deflecto makes a much better one. I will not order the Rubbermaid brand again.

Cheap and over-priced

I bought it because I needed a magnetic wall file that would handle quite a lot of files. The open back is a serious disadvantage; the magnets are small and look weak. I wouldn't trust this stay stay attached to the cabinet with more than a couple of files and it also looks like it would break easily; the plastic is thin and brittle.Considering the [$]price tag, I returned these and bought the Deflecto brand instead which have a closed back, a sturdy magnet, and cost [$]less per item.

Perfect for small work areas with limited surface space -- allows one to use the side of a metal cabinet for filing space
