Our grandaughter along with myself enjoy using it,especially in the kitchen..comes in good for me when I need to get into a high shelf area. Very sturdy and supports weight well ( even if I only weigh 120 lbs) LOL But I love it..I'm glad i chose a Rubbermaid product, a dependable name.

Works well in heat and cold. It has been droped from over 15 feet up and has been thrown across a room and landed hard on the ground many times. It still works great and no damage to the steps or hinges. Good construction.

I use the stool on my sailing vessel. Often times we put into ports that make getting aboard my boat difficult. The "step up" is a big one. When we are in a situation like this, I simply take the step stool from the locker and put it on the dock to provide easy on and easy off. Because it is a Rubbermaid product, it doesn't rust, it is lightweight, and it stores easily.
