a great container that we use for soda cans and soda or juice bottles. As previous reviewer said, if full of paper, could be extremely heavy to move. But for plastic bottles and soda cans, it is ideal. Easily moves from house, to garage, to curb for pick up by city recycler. It can catch the wind and blow over outside if not braced or anchored out on the curb depending what and how much you have put inside of it. When this container is part of a mix of containers offered by Quill, our recycling has increased dramatically as we designed our own processes and rules for recycling to match our pick up service and then matched Quill's containers to the job! Our curb side pick up prefers containers with lids to protect the contents during bad weather. So far, I have been meeting their need by using a folded up pizza delivery box as a recyclable cover that protects the contents and then gets recycled without blowing down the street.

Our office is committed to reducing paper waste and we have found an ally in the "Slim Jim". It can be pretty heavy when full so you may want to empty it when it is half-full if you are responsible for disposal.
