We use this inside the house as a convenient place to throw recyclables and begin the sorting process which for us seems to be the biggest barrier to efficient recycling. It became a real big chore to sort and re-sort and organize recyclables for curb side collection. If not sorted properly, they will not be picked up, so it became imperative to sort everything. Some towns have Single Stream Recycling which eliminates sorting but we do have that yet. This container can transition from the house, into the garage, and out to the curb if need be, easily and conveniently.
