Coat rack is sturdy and attractive. It does not wobble, and can hold a lot of clothes/coats with 8 hooks.

We have a total of 4 adults and 3 kids in my house and the kids like to just yank their jackets off the tree. The wooden stands don't withstand kids and wasn't even very sturdy. This one looks nice, is sturdy and hasn't tipped once yet.

I use it as a towel tree for guest towels. I looked for something with more of an arm action, but was not able to find it. This coat rack was as close as I could come to it and it works. I do wish it had more arms and the space between arms was greater, but Oh Well!

I use this coatrack in my small apartment to hold my hats and caps, heavy rotation pants and jackets, carrying bags...you can pretty much put anything on this. It's stable if you make sure your floor is even and that you balance the way you hang things (don't put everything on one side.)

Assembly was easy and took minutes.

It's not the most gorgeous coatrack but for the combination of price and sturdiness it was a pretty fair deal. If you're worried about the cold chrome look, you'll probably have coats and things covering up much of it anyway. A heavy wood coat rack would look better in my apt but it's also much more expensive.
