The Safco printer stand is an excellent value. I purchaded ot from Staples with a coupon that made it an even better value. The shipping was great - 2 business days. I put it together in less that an hour. I foind it to be sturdy and attractive. You can snake a few wires though the openings in the back of the bottom shelf - i did it for a cable box and a sling box. The center shelf came with a slight scratch right in the front. I called Safco directly and they send me an new shelf in 2 days. The stand holds a Cannon MX 882 on the top shelf and fits great next to my new desk.

The stand is very solid and functional, much better than earlier wooden model. We have HP printer that shakes violently when printing and stand doesn't move. The one knock is there is no hole in back of unit big enough for standard plug. So unless wires are small enough to fit in holes by wheeels, no printer or other electronic device can be on shelves.

Bought this because it was in the right price range, had positive reviews and looked good in the picture.
It arrived and seemed easy enough, but assembly took two hours. THe placement of the holes in the metal side pieces is such that it is impossible to screw in by hand therefore we had to go out and get a drill. The holes to attach the back panel and back legs did not line up. THe shelf that was supposed to be in the middle didn't fit. I would not recommend this piece at all.

We bought one of these a few months ago after a printer stand fell apart. I ordered it online and was surprised how sturdy it really was. When we needed another stand for a new scanner we decided to get another one.
