I think this samsung is great . it is not too big to carry around and not so small like a cellphone for internet and movies. I have bought 2 of them and they both are working fine, great for any age in my oppinion . great for around the house and travel . would like to see some 4g app for this , if there is i dont know about it but would be better than the cell for netflix when on the road

This was a great purchase for our son. He loved my iPad and wanted one. He was just as pleased with this, ...at less than half the cost!

I picked this tablet because it was on sale and was $20 cheaper than the Kindle Fire, has a better processor, and has expandable memory. I use it daily to watch Netflix, read books with the Kindle app,and keep in touch with my family via Skype when I am away. The calendar app is very simple to use for keeping track of my daily schedule and family activities. When power saving mode is enabled I can actually go three to four days between charges. My only complaint is the charging cable seems short. Another three feet of cable would have been more ideal.

Bought for wife and she loves it. Plays her games and reads on it. Faster than our lap top.
It is just what I wanted

I had a Kindle Fire that I liked really well for 1 1/2 years. I went to Staples to compare tablets and I was very impressed with the features of the new glaxy II. There were features on it that were not on the Kindle Fire, camera, office software, Word,Excel and powerpoint. More free apps through Google Play Store. The staff at the store was very helpful in helping to decide and setup my new Galaxy II.It is very user friendly. I work in a small Public Library and teach computers and tablets and how to use them and download ebooks and audio books. I use my tablet to demonstrate some of the functions of it other that being an eread. Wish we had one for out Library. hint, hint. thank you for developing such a nice product.
Overall it is a good one.

This is a really good 7" tablet. I planned to use it to replace my 10" iPad2 to take notes, play games, watch movies and web-surfing. It does a good job with taking notes and watch movies especially when you travel while iPad2 is too bulky for travel. I bought it because I don't want to spend too much money on ipad mini. Overall I think iPad exceeds android pad. At least the control of iPad works better than Android.I don't know whether it is because this is an entry level pad so it does not perform as fast as ipad mini ( I played it in a store). This pad comes with Android 4.1.1 which does not allow you to move apps to the external SD while this is one important reason that I chose Android instead of iPad mini. So I am disappointed at Android pad now.Of course this is not Samsung's fault. I have an Android mini PC which runs Android 4.0 and I could swap the external memory with the internal SD.But Android 4.1.1 could not do that so far. So there is very limited use for the USB port.

Make sure you go online and learn to install adobe flash. App not available from google play but can be downloaded and installed on your tablet right from Adobe. Its very quick and easy to do, just google it.
