I was really looking for a smaller capacity, but I guess they don't make them anymore. I transfer images to my computer with this disk several times a day, so wanted a good quality at a low price cause they do wear out as I use them. This 8GB will assure I never need more, even on vacation since I have never known myself to take a thousand photos at a time and do not do movie mode.

SanDisk 8GB Standard SD (SDHC) Memory Card was an amazing value at less than $10 (using a Staples coupon). I purchased the card for use with the video function on my digital camera to record and download footage of my husband presenting a speech for an on-line class. The card will hold an amazing 12+ hours of video data at low resolution, and almost 2 hours of video at the highest resolution. This type card goes directly from camera to computer to printer for downloading and printing with no cable hookups. I find this brand to be very reliable and Staples price to be a great value!

For the price these cards will do the job ok. For a semi professional Nikon camera this card will work in slower speed applications. If higher speed is needed, I reviewed the PNY class 10 card earlier and have been very pleased purchasing dozens of them for a very economical price over the years. When SanDisk has this class 4 card on sale at Staples it is well worth the price. We typically use this class 4 card with our Olympus slower speed pocket camera. I would not recommend it for video or high speed 35mm use.

Good value. It is difficult to comment on an item that has only one use and is industry accepted. Seems this memory card fill fit in any camera that requires the use of a memory CARD. I usually use this size because it hold a respectable number of images and doesn't require frequent changing. This lightens the weight of the camera gear that one must carry when out on a photo shoot. With more images on this size card it is not necessary to have more storage space than is required with smaller cards.

SanDisk is a useful tool in multiple devices. I can easily pop the disk from the camera to my phone or computer or visa versa. It effectively stores text, photos and videos. Staples has SanDisk Memory Cards on sale often so the price is reasonable.
