The directions to assemble this desk were in American English, and very easy to follow. The connectors and pre-drilled holes were very precise, so it was very solid once together. It's pretty heavy, so I took care to assemble it right where I wanted to place it. The hardware is nice quality. I don't care much for the center keyboard / drawer combination, as having the keyboard on the sliding drawer means I had to sit too far back from my monitor. I just use the center drawer as a drawer. There is a plastic cover for the hole where electrical cords go through the desktop, but it makes my monitor tippy because it isn't flat to the desktop, so I had to improvise. I really like the drawer glides, they are very smooth.

I love the look of this desk. We really only needed 2 filing cabinets and wished the third was 2 extra drawers instead, but the desks we found that gave that option (2 file drawers and 4-6 regular drawers) were $1000+ The price was definately worth settling on the drawer space.

I bought the desk to replace my old which could not accommodate to monitors, I was moved on how easy it was to put it together except the marks put on to fasten the hinges to the keyboard shelf did not match the mark on the keyboard front. I had to figured it out myself, other than that everything was perfect.

The desk looks attractive once assembled (which took me a couple of hours). I would say that it is a medium duty desk and for the price, well worth it. I don't think it will stand up to a lot of use but hope I am wrong. It works well for an office for a part time accountant and I like the price as compared to solid wood desks.

This is a very large desk, we have about a 10' by 10' room but it is ok in there cause we only have bookcases and a chair. We had never assembled anything before but we were able to do it by following the pretty clear instructions. They also have videos on the website but I would have liked more of them and more detail in the video. The 3 file drawers hold a lot of files and the middle drawer can be a drawer or computer keyboard, or actually both. It is very large. It is very elegant looking and every day my husband says he loves his desk. We wanted something that looked nice and was functional but didn't cost too much. I think it is a good value.
