The unit does an OK job for our simple sales environment. We sell a limited number of items which have a mix of sales taxes and once setup it is OK, but the instructions of how to deal with a mix of sales taxes could be much better.

Since the cash register has a reasonable selection of functions it would be appropriate that the instructions clearly describe the setup and use of the various functions. The clerks using the unit found that many of the functions were less than intuitive and we had to fix that by preparing a one page instruction sheet.

Bought This Cash Register About a Week ago,set up was easy and straight forward,easy to follow directions for setting up the tax rate and the receipt header & footer.
The price was the avarage (Acceptable)
I would recomend this register for small retailers with simple daily transactions.

I am sorry to say I was not satisfied with this product. My main complaint is that it was not as described by Quill. There are only 4 bill compartments, not 5. And there are only 5 coin compartments, not 6. Because I was desperately in need of cash register, I thought I would try to set it up anyhow, even with the shortcomings described above. Unfortunately, I am not a nuclear physicist. For the life of me, I could not figure out even the simplest thing about how to set up sales tax for each department. After reading the manual over and over, I finally gave up and shipped the item back to Quill. The cash register itself appears to be of very good quality, and I'm sure would it work fine in the right setting. Just be prepared that you might have some trouble programming it the way you want.

You must read the instructions in order to set up this cash register. I wish it had more pre-programmed keys to save time when setting up. Overall, this is a great product for a small store.

Overall I like this machine. It was not as easy as stated to program. I had to call for some simple tasks that were not in the manual, and should have been. I felt like it skipped over simple operations and made the process harder to understand. I am a self taught peachtree user, so this shouldn't have been that difficult. But once you get everything in the way you want it, it seems to be a breeze.
