I think most people will agree that all cartridges are very pricey these days. On the other hand, the cheap ones have poor quality, so we are captive consumers.

The product does not yield 500 pages. The last one I had yielded about 75 pages, and the one before that about 100 pages. It is not good, but I am stuck with it.

I had no problem installing the ink cartridge. Since I have only recently installed, I cannot say how long the life expectancy is. The coloration seems to be fine so far.

It's the only game in town, so one is forced to buy this. At almost $50 for a cartridge, well, what do you think?!?!? It is appalling what these manufacturers get for ink once they sell you the "cheap" fax machine.

When are the companies going to make replacement ink cartridges that are reasonably priced? After buying a couple of replacement cartridges the price exceeds the price of a new fax machine.
