This item writes horrible! It is very scratchy, skips terribly, and just not a pleasure to use. I thought a liquid pencil would write smooth like a ball point pen but both of the items I purchased skip horribly and are not easy or nice to use. I am terribly disappointed in them. Sharpie has been a very reliable product for me and my family in the past but I am very leery of purchasing this brand in the future. There are a number of very comparable products on the market and I believe I will be checking them out.

I really was hoping to like this pencil/pen combo! I love to write with pencil and struggle to find a 'favorite' since I write so much. Pen glides to quickly for me, I prefer some 'feedback' I suppose. This wrote poorly for me, spotty and difficult to write with.

Thought it would be nice to have a pencil that I didn't have to sharpen. The description says that it writes smooth so I thought it would be a good purchase. I tried both pencils in the package and they both skip. If you press really hard they don't work too bad, but they skip frequently when first put to paper. Description sounds good, they just don't perform. I'll be sending them back as it looks like sharpie has a good return/replacement policy. I'll be asking for good old fashion pens as replacements however.

I have always trusted the Sharpie products and was very disappointed to find that these pencils are not worthy of that trust. I only needed them to do crossword puzzles and they were terrible for that. Using them for anything important would be disastrous. I contacted the company and received a standard answer about returning them. I wouldn't spend the money to return a $5 product but I did want them to know how poor a product this was. Hopefully they will correct the formula and make them better.
