This pen with the retractable tip needs to be made in a smaller size, with a tip that doesn't dry out if it's not clicked back in, that doesn't fray when pressed.
Especially the fact that it dries out if it's sitting on you desk as you're taking notes, etc. It's a pain to pick it up after a few minutes and it's dried out.

Sharpie as I used to know it, was always waterproof. We used them for water sample labels. Unfortunately we had an incident that all of our labels lost the markings, we wrote with the new Sharpie. We now ONLY use WriteInRain pens.

i love this product. as the package says, the ink does not bleed. i have used the pen on all types of paper, and the lines are clean. i have a few i purchased last year, and they are still working. i just can't get enough i actually give one away at times, to have my artist friends to try it. i love the "click" top. they don't dry out looking for a cap all the time. i highly recommend this product.

I'm a nurse and this pen leaked black ink my scrub pocket, while it was retracted. Happened with 2 different pens. Could not remove stain: threw away 2 scrub tops.

These pens are not cheap, but if you're looking for a fine-to-medium-point pen that works like a Micron for illustration as well as a fluid writer for note taking, this pen works very well. They last quite a while (still using the first one in the 3-pack) and the retracting mechanism is solid and keeps the permanent ink well away from the pen tip. I'm also impressed with the clip. I often tuck it into the front pocket on my jeans where clips can get bumped or snagged on table corners. The clip has held up well and has not loosened after several strong bumps.
