This is my second set of the markers, since I have used up all the ink in the others. I have used the markers for labels, craft projects, scrapbooking, and whenever I need color for posters or other types of colorful applications. Since our community has many fundraisers and volunteer activities, I use them whenever I need to make either a quick note or painstaking poster for promotion of the events. I was lost when my red and green pens ran out of ink, at Christmastime. I use the pens for free-hand items on mailing labels, such as a tree or a holly leaf.

My only problem is the tip of the plastic cover that holds the ink. The pen (felt?) protrusion from the squared off tip of plastic cover is difficult to see. Better if the plastic cover was graduated to a point just bigger than the tip. It would allow for a better view of marker point of contact with substrate.

Highly recommend to those that feel the need to "lift" their lettering to a higher level to create a WOW factor.

Since these sharpies were retractable I was hesitant about purchasing them. I was afraid they would dry up because they did not have a cap. Since they were on sale I gave them a try. I was happy and surprised to see that there was a covering when the sharpie was not in use to prevent the marker from drying out.
