Sony Cd's seem to reproduce music very well. They also function very well for archiving photos. I have been using the Sony CD's for quite a few years now and they have performed excellently throughout. I acually have not experienced too many problems with other CD's purchased for the same use. The store brands seem to function just as well as other brands. I read somewhere that Memorex CD's were the best, or very good for music, but unless you have audiofile equipment or some way to test frequency responce, I do not think the ordinary consumer would be able to tell the difference. I do see that the prices have risen dramatically over the past few years for blank CD's. At any rate enjoy the music if that is what you use them for...............
