Comments about Sony DVD-R Discs; 4.7GB/120Min., 50-Pack Spindle:
Had 2 out of 3 discs fail when recording music. The discs freeze up while recording and if not then they freeze up in playback.
Good DVD Choice

About Me Enthusiast
Sony always seems to put out very reliable products. Thses DVD's are among the best on the market. I don't use a lot of them, but I always am satisfied when I do chose a Sony DVD for my purposes.I am a collector or Movie Musicals, so I am in constant need of a good dependable, easy to use DVD's to build my collection. When I am ready to record, I just reach for my Sony Spindle and grab another disk for my purposes. In it goes and information is transfered to the disk and I have another piece for my collection.

Rarely, if ever, a dud in the spindle. I had bought a competitor (TDK) and had many more "dirty" (bad) disks in the bunch than useable. I will stick with Sony or Maxell from now on.
Good product, especially if on sale!

The Sony DVD-R are good, reliable blank media for most recording uses. I also use Verbatim and TDK because of the reliability factor, but buy SONY whenever possible...especially when Staples has them on sale or has a % off coupon. The 50 or 100 pack are usually the better buys if you go through a lot of DVD discs, as I do. Some people prefer the DVD+R to the DVD-R, but while I have used both I prefer the DVD-R...merely my preferance and not a comment on the +R dics. I have never had a problem with SONY blank media, as I have with some others, particularly off brands.
great quality and DVD
By ABCD

These DVDs are consistently andreliably great. They always produce great quality movie playbackand great sound quality. If I am recording something important, I can record right up to the end of the DVD with no fear of a recording error. I don't have to fear the possibility of losing important information when using Sony brand, for backing up data. In all theyears that I have used Sony DVDs and CDs, I have found only 1 or 2bad discs and I think the problem was caused by my computer not the discs. Sony DVDs are a bargain at any pricebecause they are reliable. They are consistently the best quality.Thank you Sony for still making a great product and for doingquality control to make sure your product stands up to such highstandards.

I thought this product was very dependable and was very easy to use, there are not to many items in this world that are able to deliver as the label says but I believe that this one does and did. I would highly recommend this to a friend and will to continue to use myself. I love the product almost as much as I like reeses pieces lol. but on a serious note there is a lot of room on these discs and also retain the data incredibly well. I have used several other brands and they have fallen well short of what the label says and I have lost data(pictures) that I may never get back again. also they appear to be more resistant to scratches than the others as well... OVER ALL THIS PRODUCT ROCKS !!!!!
