Comments about ACCO Space-Saving Bulletin Strips; Aluminum Bulletin Bar, 1Hx48W, 6 Pins Included:
I did like the looks of the strip on the wall after I nailed it on. Keeps area looking neater.

2 changes would make this a 5-star item!
By Wonder Woman

I love the IDEA of this product, however, there are 2 major flaws that make it practically useless. One, the mounting materials supplied (double stick foam pieces or self-stick magnets)just don't hold up. I cannot speak for the magnets, but the double stick foam pieces don't offer enough support (maybe if they double the number they give you it would help?). But honestly there should really be a way to nail or screw this into the wall. I hung this up yesterday with the foam, and less than 24 hours later it has fallen off the wall and ripped a large chunk of paint off the drywall. Secondly, the cork isn't thick enough to push a pushpin all the way in. You hit the aluminum behind the cork, so you're left with a wobbly, unsecure pin desperately trying to keep your paper in place. For [$] they should use a little more cork! Just adding 1/8" would probably fix this problem. What a joke! The whole point of this product is to hang on your wall and hold papers by means of thumb tacks. But it doesn't manage to complete either task, at least, not for more than a few hours. Be prepared to rig up a better way to hang it, and if there is such a thing as shorter push pins I suggest you buy them.

I mounted the strip in our meeting room. I pin poster boards to it to list topics for discussion
Disappointed
By preschool director

I purchased 4 of these for a preschool. After mounting the strips and hanging art on them, they came loose from the wall. I would not purchase again.
Not sticky enough
By Church Lady

The strip itself is great, but the adhesive is not sticky enough to stay on the wall.
Corked about flemsy Cork Strips
By SarahBeth

These strips don't come with anything to hang them with so we tried using sticky tack but the strips are too heavy. Also, the cork strips are peeling off the plastic. I wouldn't purchase these again. I am not pleased at all.
Great idea; bad adhesive provided.

I use this instead of a bulletin board in a very nice office area. It is perfect for my needs, but I used "Command" adhesive strips to install as the ones provided by the manufacturer would not hold the strip on the wall overnight.
