These do work pretty smoothly with B8HDP (Heavy Duty Stapling Plier) but are thin thin thin far from heavy duty, for extremely light duty uses only.
Are very sharp so can peatrate many sheet but any imperfect ends poke & slice you

We have been using the 3/8" staple in our Bostich B8E stapler but have found that they are too long for our everyday stapling needs. Most of the packages we staple are 10-15 pages, and this particular staple tends to leave a sharp piece sticking out of the paper.

We are switching to the 1/4" staple as it will better suit our needs.

The quality is great. I wanted to add this review for those who are planning to use this primarily for smaller packets of paper.
