I went to buy a chair I saw online, not realizing it was only in stock ONLINE, so I tested out a few chairs and this one seemed to be the sturdiest (the fact that it's actually leather is a PLUS!). I had the store assemble it (it was ready the next morning - YAY!), I picked it up and I was good to go... So I thought.
I happen to be one of the more "ample" chicks through the hip/thigh region. After approximately 3 hours of the chrome arms digging into the sides of my thighs, I wanted to roll this chair into traffic! But that was MY FAULT. My dad actually likes this chair and may get it by default.
Anyways, good chair, good price point, just steer clear if you happen to be a bit "hippy".

This is a really comfy chair. I work from home as a programmer so I do a lot of sitting. I wanted something comfortable and sturdy and this fits the bill perfectly.

I've had this chair for two months, and the seat cushion went completely flat in less than six weeks. Hard as a rock now. I called the service plan company about it, and they said it was a Staples product and that I should call Staples. Staples sent a new seat cushion, and it has gotten hard in the course of a week.

The chrome is peeling off the arms from rubbing against the SOFT wood of my desk.

The chair rocks slight forward and back even with the tilt action locked.
Staples refuses to consider a refund.

I know everybody's different, but I don't understand the sturm and drang in the negative reviews for this chair.
ERGONOMICS: I am average height (5'10") and this chair fits me just fine. I might agree it is not for a short person or for someone short in the upper leg as the chair is fairly deep. The vertical adjustment isn't good for someone with short legs, but it sure works for average me. I work out of my home office and am in it all day.
PRODUCT QUALITY: The fact that it is REAL leather in the seating surfaces is important for me. I would not want a bonded leather or vinyl product. To keep it clean, I use a damp cloth occasionally and follow up with a great leather product called "Leather CPR".
Yes it creaks a bit if I'm sitting on the edge, but the expensive chairs do that too often too.
VALUE: Do I wish I had a $1000 chair? Sure, but is the difference in price a good use of my money? No. I think the quality, comfort and usability are great for the money.
Seriously, this chair works very well and I didn't have to pay 1000 bucks.

This chair is the most comfortable chair for sitting at a computer for a long time or even a short time. Between the sale and evtra 20 percent off I got made this otherwise slightly expensive chair extreemly affordable. Was fairly easy to assemble and was using it in no time at all. Did some comparison shopping and found this chair to be the best value and best deal. I have already reccomended this chair to a friend and they went and bought one 3 days later and they love it too. I find it really comfortable and relaxing!
