The stapler broke after 2 days! In a classroom that is terrible. They used to be better but these staplers must have a new design because they are terrible!

We bought 3 of these at the same time. Within the 1st yr the base of one broke in half. A few months later, the 2nd stapler's base broke in the same place. The 3rd we have retired to holding down papers and occasionally stapling no more than 4 sheets together. Too many jams if you attempt more than that.

This is my 2nd purchase of this model. It is a good-quality weighted stapler, not flimsy like others I have owned that quit working properly after a year or two.
