Tough, Durable, Long-Life
By Marilyn
from New Carlisle, OH
We had this model stapler for over 10 years when one very small plastic piece broke that held the staples in the cartridge. We liked the stapler model so much we bought the exact same model and actually use both as the original still works with some duct tape holding the staples in their cartridge. You just have to remove the tape when it is time to reload the staples. This is a very durable, powerful stapler because it is made mostly of metal not cheap plastic.

Not My Favorite Task
By Hal in New York
from Long Island
Having to staple a package of 150 or 200 sheets of paper is not my favorite way to kill some time. Truthfully, I cringe when I think about having to use this machine. It's like going to the dentist: you don't want to, but you've got to.The most important thing about using this machine is to use the correct staple size. One size does not fit all. If you use a staple that is too big, it will curl around and start coming back up and that is usually when you will get a jam.Measure the thickness of what you want to staple and choose a staple that is no more than 1/8" deeper. Put the papers on the anvil and press on the handle with a smooth, steady pressure. It should work fine.
Piece of junk, stay away!!

This stapler is our offices version of the copier from Office Space. It is a piece of junk and everyone in the office hates it.
