I use this for my home office: It works so much better than my old manual stapler. My old stapler (only 6 months old) would constantly jam and tear pages. This new one-perfect!

I have used this stapler every day for a few years for every thing that I do (accounting office @ a marina) and have LOVED IT! I like that it is removeable from the base for the days that I have to take work home with me or for ease of moving it around on my desk for different tasks. The only thing I don't like about it is that I have to use "name brand" staples that cost a little more or it will sometimes jam.

This staple has been dropped many times and the case has finally cracked which allows the bottom to move during the stapling process thus causing problems.

My supervisor has also had one of these staplers for almost as long as I have. Hers has not been abused as much as mine nor worked as hard and it is still going strong.

This is the seventh swingline electric stapler for our office. Everyone loves these because we all do a lot of stapling. One stapler jammed because of operator-error. She put too much paper in it and yanked on the paper to get it out and ruined the stapler.

Bought 2 of these for our office and was surprised by how large they were -- not a convenient size to have on your desk. Worked fine for a couple months but then started jamming. Finally had to throw both of them away.
