Most every stapler I've seen has an arm that pushes the staples forward every time you use it. This one has the same mechanism, but instead of being attached to a spring-loaded tension rod, it is attached to a thin clear piece of plastic which broke right away! Ridiculous engineering to think a piece of plastic would hold up as well as a spring.
This is garbage. I mean, its a stapler, what can go wrong? Inside the stapler (any stapler, not just this one) there is a little arm that pushes the staples forward everytime you use it. This one has the same mechanism, but instead of being attached to a spring loaded, tension rod, its attached to a thin clear piece of plastice which isnt strong enough to push the staples forward. So I use it once and have to open it and manually move the staples forward each time.
This is probably one of the best low volume desktop staplers I have purchased in my many years working in an office. Easy to use and the extra staple storage is convenient. The red indicator on top showing when staples are low is also very helpful. I have and will continue to buy this stapler for myself and other employees within my office. Great product!!
I had a metal stapler before ordering this one so I was worried about the plastic construction but I didn't have any reason to worry!! It it so easy to grip and staples with ease. I love the design and would definitely recommend it to anyone!
