We purchased the Swingline brand assuming it would be the most durable. Unfortunately, it stopped working after just two months of light use - the holiday season included. Fortunately, Staples is exchanging, so hopefully, the replacement stapler will last longer. The exchange was done using live chat and it was a very easy process. The stapler itself is small and relatively quiet. We didn't use the battery portion of the stapler which would have added heft, yet it still had enough weight to be seem durable.

I have had this for 10 business days and it gets plenty of use on 5 to 20 pages multiple times throughout the day. So far, not a jam or a problem! It is compact and sits neatly on my desk. I also like that it has battery power.

I got this item as a replacement for one that recently broke in my office. We used it for over three years until the metal piece that activates the stapler broke off from over use. Its easy to use, great for small to medium jobs, and built to last.

it is in use at my desk for bookkeeping purposes but also at the cash registers where it get 1000+ uses each and every day. It has held up well and I have purchased two more for when it does give up. I have found that anything that works and does not cost alot is normally gone in a short time...so I am prepared.
