I was planning to return a brand new stapler because it wasn't working properly. Then it ocurred to me to get these Swingline staples.
My heavy duty stapler now works perfectly! I have used it to staple stacks of about 20 to 50 sheets. Altho the staples seemed pricy, they are definitely worth it.
