This is one purchase I would make over and over. Only problem I forsee is it possibly could use some type of "scuff" pad on the bottom.
I would buy the product again

About Me Bargain Hunter, Business Traveller, High-End Shopper, IS Professional, Practical
This bag, TGC417, is very very good. I settled on this after I tried and rejected the Targus 17" bag, TGC200, for my 17.3" Laptop (HP Pavilion dv7-6123cl Entertainment Notebook). See my review, RealOpinion (uncompensated), for the TGC200. The TGC417 I received via Staples "online" didn't have the internal CD sleeve or the external clip-on Cellphone pouch shown in pix. Con: The only thing that prevented me from giving this bag a 5-star rating is that it doesn't have the protective "tread" in the most-wear-prone bottom edge of the bag. Pros: Well Built. All securing rings, loops, zippers and zipper-pulls are sturdy and excellent quality. This bag's manufacturing is excellent. Design and suitability-to-task are also excellent. Perfect for business traveller who is a little "assertive" with luggage. Actually, the laptop compartment/ pocket has a movable interior end/edge-pad that is conveniently secured by velcro (hook-and-loop) strips. This allows you to adjust the interior storage space to snugly hold narrower laptops with widths down to about 14". A big plus is that there is still a small air-gap between the ends of the padded laptop pocket and the ends of the bag's interior. It's a small "crumple zone."Pockets and organizers: Perfect for the business traveller, college professor, or long-day student. It has individual gadget pockets and holders for pens, wireless mouse, the power-supplies and cords, a cell phone/blackberry, networking cables, and a 5-port networking hub (yes, I realize my new laptop is wi-fi capable). A separate zippered compartment has 2 semi-rigid dividers (for 3 slots) for protecting paper folders and notepads. Finally, a holding net (for your water bottle) retracts neatly into its hidden end-pocket when not in use. Travel Bag": OK. I wouldn't put this bag loaded on airport luggage conveyor belt, but, as carry-on luggage, it's no worry. Loaded, it will get heavy. You're going to want to put it down, thus my gripe about the missing wear tread. Shoulder strap is comfortable, adjustable, and detachable. This bag is 9 stars out of 10.

I had a hard time finding a bag big enought to fit my laptop that had plenty of room. This has it all.
