About Me High-end Shopper
Comments about Techni-Mobili Techni Mobili Laptop Cart; Graphite:
This product was to be used in our office to place laptops on so we could see patients. It is not sturdy. We would not recommend purchasing these to anyone.

Works for me
By Dr M

I wanted to sit less to reduce strain on my lower back. This stand works well. When I first assembled the stand the springy button that holds the column at different heights had NO spring, and the stand always collapsed to its lowest position. The manufacturer emailed instructions with very clear photographs showing how to look down the center column and realign the spring so that the button works correctly.
Didn't do the job

About Me Practical
It was something of a challenge to put together, but looked good and good size for its place in my home office. Unfortunately the design is poor--at the lowest end of its height range it's too high to type on comfortably (somewhat of a drawback in a laptop used primarily for writing). And it feels unstable: the surface sways, bends, and otherwise wobbles as I type. I sometimes take notes during telephone interviews, and this device makes it more of an adventure than I need. I've been trying to return it.

Accurate, as far as things go.

Doesn't go low enough. Computer (larger) platform needs to be wider to accommodate CD drive opening, larger USB attachments, etc. Smaller top section takes some work to adjust for mouse use (and forget the bottom plastic rail). Be careful when tightening screws -- the screw sleeves in the plastic rails break easily. Nice to have the mobility for my laptop, though. Recommendation would come with caveats.

About Me Quality Oriented
It is ok for bedside use. The older model, imo, is much more stable and rolls easier. As long as you do not put too much on it, it is good for normal use.

About Me Quality Oriented, Value Oriented
I have spent a long time looking for a table tall enough to use in bed. I love to read or work on my computer there. Nothing has fit the bill until I found this table. It is great. It really works well. It moves best by moving from an end, as well as checking the wheel locks=:~) if it isn't moving well..... Because that is probably why.

Nice addition to home office
By John the Blocker

Overall, I'm happy with this unit. It allows me to stand up and work on my laptop. The stand is light and strong, the work surface (2 pieces) is easy to adjust. You can easily lock and unlock the casters with your feet. Also, the design is very stylish compared to other similar products. I'd give it a 5-star rating if the craftmanship of the two boards were better, but the price would go up, too.I bought it because I know it's unhealthy to sit at my computer desk for hours, and using a laptop on the lap isn't a fun thing to do for the hands, arms, and neck. If you have to use a laptop at home and you have pains from doing so, this product may offer you some help.
