While this desk looks nice, the Quality Control of this company is severly lacking. Upon initial order and shipment (Mar 24th order, arrived Apr 2nd), there was one piece that was damaged. (yes it does happen and wasn't too upset about it). Called in, got them to send a replacement piece. It came in a week later and started assemblying the desk. Found out that one of the pieces was drilled wrong. Called in again and after they wanted extra verification that the piece was drilled wrong (not that we were trying to assemble it wrong), we got that part replaced another week later. That part came in last night and started to finish assembly of the desk. The part that was initially replaced from damage was drilled wrong. It had the cam lock system drilled for the back piece when the instructions were for regular screws (the broken piece was properly drilled). So time to make another phone call today and hope I can have this desk assembled before the month is out.

Overall if you want a computer desk, look for another company.

I bought a desk a couple of years ago and loved it so Much I wanted another desk for my downstairs. I Being a Woman built both of these desks. They were not hard to build AT all. Just follow the Directions. It is Very well Built. Matches my deco perfect. Drawers Slide out perfect. There is Enough Space for all your items. I am SO GLAD I Purchased another one. Buy this DESK you WONT Be DISAPPOINTED.

Besides taking quite awhile to assemble (3 hours) it's a nice looking desk. Very glad I bought it as it's a second desk for us and fits well in the only available space I have in my office.

Overall great desk. Assembly instructions are very clear and all parts are marked very well. I can see where people get frustrated with the assembly though. It will take at least 3 to 5hrs from start to finish.

I will share a few notes that may help.

1. Do a receiving checklist. Make sure all parts are accounted for. Check for damage. I had some scratches and a few minor dings. It will not be perfect when it arrives. Save the stress of returning things and fix yourself. If it is large damage, return for new parts as needed.

2. You will need a cordless drill with a #40 drill bit and a better phillips screwdriver. The little one in the kit will kill your hands!

3. Step 3- Carefully drill all 4 holes in piece 6 about 3-5 mm more to accomodate the 4x30mm screws.

4. Step 5- Carefully drill all 4 holes 3-5mm to recieve the 3x15mm screws for the drawer slides.

5. Step 6- Be very careful when drilling all the holes 3-5mm deeper for the 3x15mm screws for the drawer slides. I found all to shallow.

6. Step 10- Drill holes 3mm for the 3x15mm screws in the scanner panel.

7: Step 25- When I inserted the drawers into the desk, the top drawer would not close all the way. The outside slide for the scanner panel was too low. I removed the drawers and the scanner panel from the slides. I moved the front of the slide up about 5mm and drilled another hole (do not use the same hole)to attach the slide. Works perfect.

All and all, this is a very sturdy and solid desk. besides a few small manufacturing errors (holes not drilled deep enough) this is a very high quality desk and looks great in my home office.

Was already assembled, last in the store and warehouse. Almost broke it in two when moving it as was not assembled sturdily in store.

Fits my small office quite nicely, lots of storage space, large surface, use it for computer and can put my art board on it for drawing purposes.

Pull-out drawer for mouse is a little tight, but have gotten used to it.

Overall, a nice desk, what I wanted.

Assembly was very difficult and it took a long time toassembel. It took 2 days to assemble.

"I bought this desk for my Mother for her Birthday. I love the design, and it fits very nicely into the space she has to work with. The finish looks great, and coming in 2 cartons makes it very managable for delivery/pickup.

And now, the drawback:
This desk is VERY difficult to put together. I have been assembling desks and other furniture for years, and this was possibly the most challenging build I have ever dealt with. First, the instructions are buried in box 1, and make sure you read them very carefully or you will end up putting panels on incorrectly (happened to me 2x thanks to the directions not being well illustrated. This build took me over 3 hours!

Also, there are a lot of parts to each element of the desk (5 panels for each drawer alone). Furthermore, the instructions tell you to attach the laptop/printer shelf after putting the desk top surface on... DO NOT DO THIS! those screws are absurdly hard to get to.

Lastly: Make sure you have a cordless drill with a good battery, and a solid phillips head bit. They include the most absurd tiny screwdriver in the box, and your hands will fall off before you finish building the desk with it.

All of that aside, the desk is very nice, and I would happily buy another if I didn't have to build it!

really nice desk, hard to put together, took my husband and I about 3 hours but we had fun doing it. It looks great in our small room that i made into an office. construction is really sturdy, the price was right for this desk and has plenty of space.
