We use tons of correction tape daily in our business and loved having convenient refillable correction tape cartridges. After they were discontinued we switched to this product and are not happy with its performance. It runs out quickly and is not as user friendly as the refillable product.

So it isn't perfect, but its far better than anything else I've tried. The biggest advantage is the application head. There is no need for devices to keep the tape on track - it stays on track well almost all of the time. Many of the other brands do have devices added to the head. These devices block my vision when it is necessary to do accurate placement of the tape. Therefore, I will go through the hassel of having to special order Tombow, but I wish Staples would still carry it.

Also, there is so much waste with other brands, that the cost of the actual usable amount of correction tape may come out to be about the same, in my experience. And using Tombow is certainly faster and less frustrating.

Our office has tried several different brands and types of correction tape, sometimes purchasing strictly because of price, and never been as satisfied as with the Tombo Mono. I was introduced to it while working at my previous employer in 1999. It is the best. We recently tried the extended length tape and love it.
