This laptop replaced an older Toshiba. I love it. The only thing I wish could be changed is the version of Windows. I haven't gotten used to it yet. But in time I think it'll be okay.

I want to add on the features I like, not be forced to have those installed...there should be an easy quick, way to remove your choice of news (I like FOX), your huge group of companies who continue to solicit me to buy from them. Also, do not like the new Windows software...previous version was better, easier.

not familuar with windows8-not enough start up instructions called staples tech support-no help transfered to toshiba tech support got registration line instead-got transfered to tech support b4 icould explain the problem was told by tech he could not hear me and to call back.so much for tech support! problem could have been solved with a start up manual.how about including manual -WINDOWS 8 FOR DUMMIES!

I have no idea how to use this computer, the in-sore person did a terrible job in getting me started. He wanted to leave when I came in
I hate the computer. Sorry I bought it or at least I hatge it because I don't know how to use it. And there is no written paper manual...only the internet manual.

purchased the laptop for my grand-son. Set up was OK and she is pleased with the computer. He will be going college and this will be his tool for the four years. It is fast and about the right size for him. He likes it and is using it every day.

We bought this laptop for our grandson for an early birthday present. There was no choice for the OS. Toshiba did not think through what OS should go on what machine. Windows 7 would of been the ideal. Windows 8 is for touchscreens, which this laptop is not. It makes navigation clunky and frustrating when trying to navigate with a touchpad. Stuff pops up and disappears in a blink of an eye. We set the machine up for our grandson before sending it to him. It took a while of trial and error to find how to shut it down. There is no "Start" icon and no documentation or instructions are included on how to navigate the OS. Otherwise, it is a nice machine. My grandson loves it. I set it up so he did not have the problems we did to get to his favorite programs.

I need toshiba to remember that there are still people out there that need and want to use the hotkeys and when you change the method of use and force them to use a shift key to operate these hotkeys, that slows down the progress of their work products and is very hard to work around. How can you fix this?
