This mouse is a lifesaver for me. It is the only style i can use with my hand limited mobility. I did see another mouse with the ball on the side but since i can't use my thumbs it didn't work for me. If you have limited thumb use from arthritis or injury this in the perfect mouse for you. i have used this item for years and this is my 3rd one.

I was given my first TrackMouse by my brother because his wife couldn't get used to it. I loved it instantly and have gone through 2 Trackmice and am working on the third. I now feel so clumsy with a regular mouse! This TrackMouse is perfect for us "Lefties" too!

my hand would get numb when using a standard mouse so I shopped around and found the trackball type mouse. Hand no longer falls asleep. We have trackball on computer at work, desk top at home and I use it with my lap top which is a Mac. Odd thing is the options operate differently on my PC at work than on my Mac lap top. Still good just different.

Since I have owned a PC I have used a Logitech TrackMan® Marble Mouse the first one I bought had tiny metal balls instead of the plastic one's they now use. I dont like the plastic at ALL they are not as smooth they dont last as long. Other than that I like using the marble mouse more than any other type of mouse

Love it just as much as the original trackman that I used to have. The ball is smaller than the origial - but that might even be better. Ball rolls smoothly, no fighting a mouse with a cord. Absolutely love it.

I've been using the trackball for about a month now with my mid-2010 MacBook Pro. It works very well with the computer, no issues there. Overall the device is bigger then I thought it would be which makes it difficult if I want to bring it with me to work. Perhaps the Apple trackpad would be more mobile. Also if the trackball itself was smaller then my wrist would not be as flexed and it would be more comfortable.
