I do far too much scrolling and mouse-moving at work and my wrist was yelling at me for it. After looking for trackball mice, this one stood out (good price, good brand) and I am very glad I bought it. It's comfortable to use, the trackball is very precise, and it took no time at all to acclimate to.

I called it compact yet bulky because while mine is bigger than a mouse you do not have to move it around like a mouse so you can use it in small areas. My husband bought it as a Christmas gift because I work with my laptop on the couch a lot. This allows me to set it on my lap and use it with full mouse access (and more). It stays with my laptop so I use it when I travel too.

A tracking ball mouse is not for everyone, but I like it better than the regular mouse. I like not having to move my arm everywhere to move the cursor. Easier to use when web browsing with a forward/backward button right next to your thumb. Once you get the hang of manuevering this item, it's so comfortable & easy.
