Since this is extra bold I used the large cup to get a perfect taste - not bitter nor lite. I used single cup so there's no mess to clean up. Just put in my keurig single cup coffee maker then tossed after. I always buy extra especially if it's on sale as I use it both at office and home. Love the aroma and the smooth taste!! I got my coworker to try it and of course they do love it too. My coffee choice has became their choice.

I took a chance on buying this Italian Roast. I usually only buy Starbucks or Barista Prima k-cups for my Keurig brewer. I like only dark roasts and it is sometimes difficult to find a k-cup that brews strong and non bitter coffee. I was pleasantly surprised with Tully's Italian Roast that it was full bodied and not bitter or burnt tasting. Though not equal to the Barista Prima Italian Roast it comes pretty close. And the best thing about it is that it is not only a good coffee it is less expensive for good quality than both Starbucks and Barista Prima.

Having tried a lot of different blends at this point, this is my overall favorite of the dark roast, or "bold" variety. Just plain, good coffee, with enough flavor to let you know you are drinking coffee and not flavored water
