I'm a law student and use this as my day-to-day school backpack. This is a good backpack for carrying your laptop and papers, but the main pocket has dividers in it, which is a problem if you're a student with large textbooks to carry around. I actually took out the dividers (with careful use of a seam ripper you can take them out without doing any damage to the pack since they're sown in separately), and now the pack can hold two large textbooks and a couple notebooks and and folders as well as my laptop. The small pocket in front is good for miscellaneous small items.

Good slim profile well-padded backpack for laptop travel. Adequate space for files or overnight items and office supplies. Own a SwissGear padded backpack that has held up wonderfully for 5 years. This backpack so far is just as heavy duty and well-padded.
