I have used the Uni-Ball micro point pens for many years. I enjoy writing with them with two exceptions:

- The ball is somewhat fragile. I'm not sure if they have worn out over time and fallen out or if they have gotten damaged but it is a painful experience when you try to write with one in which the ball has fallen out.

- The ink is less durable than some other pens. If the paper gets damp or splashed, the ink will spread or wash away. If the paper is kept dry, there is no problem.

Despite the two negative issues, I still buy these pens and enjoy using them.

I have no idea what a pen has to do with gardening but I do love this pen. I have used only this one for probably over 5 years and I use it all day, every day. I do research which requires taking notes by hand. This pen never requires the annoying scribble to get it to start and produces very precise lines or letters. My only objection is that the ink is not waterproof. While that is usually not an issue, recently I dropped my check register in a sink and there went all the information. Oops! I have recommended this pen to friends and colleagues many, many times. My office lets me buy my own pens because they know that I am super particular about pens. So, my highest recommendation to this one.

This is one of the best pens I have ever used. zzzi alot of paperwork and am very picky about my pens. This pen writes fine and is a smooth gliding pen. Excellent for someone like me that takes ton of data.
