They broke within the first week of use. I dropped them one time and the blade broke out of the scissor handle. Also, with the blade on the handle, they are awkward to use, thicker than usual. I thought I'd give them a try, but never again. I'll just keep to two different tools.

These are great... I have a pair at work and at home. What an efficient use of a tool with the box cutter built right in!

Haven't used it long enough to be assured it will hold a sharp edge, but so far we are thrilled. We open boxes most very day and then wrap gifts and cut ribbons regularly. This scissor allows for one tool and no dulling of the cutting surface by sticky tapes or box adhesives.

I always use this to open boxes. The blade that comes out is just the right length. It's easy and safe. Saw a lot of bad reviews..but I liked it so much I looked it up here on Staples to get another pair. If you use the box cutter on a daily basis, it will last you about a year.

I have used both the OXO combo scissors and the Wescott. I never cut myself using the Wescott, but I did forget occasionally to engage the safety. The blade was small enough I didn't cut myself if it ever engaged (which was twice in three years). I have had the OXO scissors for a month, and I have cut myself twice. I recommend these if you want a combo scissors.

The blade on the handle was very dull and not effective. The lock didn't work and when you wanted to use the blade, it barely came out enough to go through one layer of tape and within 3 days, the blade fell out and right on to my desk. This is a very poor design and would not recommend spending your money on this product. I later purchased a regular utility knife.

The razor part didn't meet up with our expectations as you had to really work to get the razzor part out to even open a box.

THE SCISSORS ARE GOOD, BUT THE BOX CUTTER WAS DULL AND NOT SO EFFECTIVE. THEN THE BLADE FELL OUT. THIS IS NOT A 2 IN 1 COMBO FOR REGULAR USE. I ENDED UP USING THE BLADE OF THE SCISSORS TO OPEN BOXES. JUST BUY A REGULAR BOX CUTTER.

This product works fine as scissors however th box cutter device is placed on the handle and could easily cut some one using it. there is a lock for the box cutter blade, but it is not easy to use. Also using it as a box cutter performed very poorly.

I purchased this product because I needed a new pair of scissors plus I needed a box cutter. I thought it would be economical to get an "all in one" but it was not worth the money spent. The box cutter does not work very well.
