It does what I needed it to do. I store pictures and memos. It has great back-up capacity. I am a casual user, but when I need storage it is there for me. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone looking for powerful storage and backup.
The price was right for a person on a fixed income. The 2TB capacity is more than enough for my usage. The Western digital My Passport is also the right size for my crowded desk top. It is silent while it does what I need it to do. What more can I say. I bought it and I enjoy it.

I use my Passport for data, picture and video backup. The software that came with it was very easy to setup and use. Al I had to do was to plug it in and Windows did the install in less than 2 minutes.

The included back-up software, was easy to install and esay to use. The PC does not slow down at all when I was transfering video files back and forth. I also tested transfering a video file while watching one, I noticed no clipping or digital effects(blocking).

Although I didn't need tech support, I called them and tested them out. Hope they didn't get mad about it. Support was cheerful and more than willing to spend the time with me to ensure that my problem was taken care of. Usually tech can't wait to hang up on you. I got the unit on sale for a good price, so dollar for dollar, I would recommend the 2 Terabyte Passport without hesitation. Good job Western Digital.

So far it's working fine. I ordered another one soon afterward.

Gets up to 40 MB/sec, although I haven't been watching it closely. More than fast enough that I don't care about the speed. At least compared to my much older USB 2.0 drives, that is.

Until something bigger comes out it's quite a marvel to have 2 TB in a pocketable device.

Incredible device with lots of storage at a very low price. Very easy to install with great backup software. No problems to report at all. I would buy this again.

I needed to back up my projects and after researching, I found this one to be reliable at a reasonable price with ample memory.

100GB took about 7 minutes to back up with USB 3.0

Wonderful little drive and very compact and lightweight too. I was amazed at the speed. I moved 300GB it a few minutes. I never expected this type of performance. My one concern is that this requires a special USB connector for the device. Good heavens aren't there enough connectors out there already? I prefer to just reach in my "bag o connectors" and grab something.

Still, because this is so small, I could easily get another even though this one at 2TB (1.81) handles more than my PC's hard drive. Excellent WD.

My old external crashed and needed something to transfer those files to and leave room for new items. Plenty of room with this drive! Great size...power not required.
