a little strange at first but am getting better each day. My wife needs to put the keyboard on her lap to be comfortable typing. So far, I think it's a great product.

    Very good but...

Comments about Microsoft® Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard with Mouse and Number Pad; Wireless:

I purchased two of these. One for my personal laptop, one for my work laptop. Within 2 days, my work laptop started automatically going to the boot screen and when I finally got to the logon screen, ever key I hit would produce all zeros (000000) so I could not log in.

I thought it was the laptop until I used it without the new keyboard and it was fine. I tried the keyboard on a second laptop and again, it went to the boot screen.

It was defective and I returned it.

I purchased this because of considerable wrist pain. It was mostly the mouse I wanted but on sale, the keyboard only added another $40 so I went for it. I like them both. I do feel the mouse is large but it turns my wrist enough to cause less pain than a traditional mouse.

Comments about Microsoft® Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard with Mouse and Number Pad; Wireless:

This amazing keyboard made my life in office so much easier! I broke my hand and the last keyboard I had just wasn't friendly with my situation. This wireless, ergonomic beauty made it easy for me to work while I was still on healing process, as I still am. I recommend you getting it even if you are not in any predicament such as mine, simply because a lot of stress will be taken away from your wrist. Being able to place it everywhere I want also made my life that much easier! And the mouse might seem big at first, but it is perfect!

    Takes some "getting used to"

    By Mikeeh

Comments about Microsoft® Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard with Mouse and Number Pad; Wireless:

I bought this because my seven year old wireless Dell key board finally died. I wasn't sure I would like the contoured key board or not but I liked the looks and feel of the mouse. After installing the system, which was very easy and quick, I started in learning how to use it. The mouse was very easy to learn and I particularly liked the multi-speed wheel., The separate number pad was nice and added versatility to my desks surface area. Now the keyboard, it's taking some getting used to, but the more I use it the better I like it. I would recommend it to anyone who does a lot of keyboard entry and spends long periods of time on the keyboard!!!!

My favorite keyboard of all time!

Comments about Microsoft® Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard with Mouse and Number Pad; Wireless:

I had the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000 set and liked it, but it was bulky. I take my computer with me and this keyboard set is so much slimmer that I don't mind taking it also. I was not sure if I would like the detached keypad, but when I am using the calculator I love that I can pick it up and use it LIKE A CALCULATOR! The mouse is very comfortable. I also like the magnetic feature. It is much easier to take the door off to replace the batteries and not have to wedge my fingernail to release the lever.

    Microsoft keyboard

Comments about Microsoft® Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard with Mouse and Number Pad; Wireless:

This keyboard is a replacememt for an earlier version of the ergonomic keyboard from microsoft. I really like this one. It is more slender, lighter weight, and works very well. I like the finger contact feelng. Since the keyboard, mouse and numeric pad are wifi, it is very easy to move around and adjust to the best position.

Comments about Microsoft® Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard with Mouse and Number Pad; Wireless:

I purchased this keyboard with the express purpose of obtaining more comfort for my hands. There is a learning curve to this keyboard and after two weeks, I am still mis-firing on occasion. The bottom row of keys are big and in the way. Granted, they are not the more important keys, but because of their size, I am constantly bumping them.

I am not sure that I want to go back to a normal keyboard after spending the time learning this new one. I like the separate number keypad. When working on a spreadsheet, I can take the wireless with me.

    Extremely comfortable. Not very secure.

Comments about Microsoft® Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard with Mouse and Number Pad; Wireless:

Final take: Comfortable, but buggy. Encryption is a joke.

The Microsoft Sculpt keyboard is very comfortable to type on, especially with the separate numpad. I have large hands, and the mouse doesn't seem very comfortable to me, so I'm sticking with my trackball.

Microsoft doesn't advertise this very well, but the encryption that they use to "secure" this keyboard to your PC is hopelessly out of date. There is a "business" version of the wireless keyboard, which doesn't include the mouse, which has the good encryption. If you just use this for home, and don't care about the encryption, it should work ok. I had an issue with repeating keys, almost as if it got hung up, and took a few seconds to "get back in touch". Since I'm not near any big RF sources, I don't think it was signal interference.

    Ergonomic Desktop Keyboard

Comments about Microsoft® Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard with Mouse and Number Pad; Wireless:

Excellent keyboard for separating left and right hand typing. I used it with an riser for my laptop after recommendation by my physical therapist that I should no longer keep using the keyboard on my laptop and looking down. Worth the extra cost from non-ergonomic keyboards.
