This sharpener is used constantly throughout the day as I teach 3rd grade. It works well but it tales a few second of holding it tight to get it to completely sharpen.

Poorly made. I have another X-acto model at work and it has the same problem. Rotors jam when you initially put a pencil inside. You have to spin the pencil along to aid the sharpening. This should not be necessary in an electric sharpener.
