I replaced an older Zerox Phaser 6180 as the toner was way too pricey, and it did not duplex. For the price, this printer is pretty decent, although I am not happy that even though I have the settings set to "on" for auto-color registration, the sharpness of the print is not as good as the 6180 at all, and it appears that the magenta is out of register.I am hoping they did not sell me a refurbished printer and pass it off an new!

This printer is a good value. I intend to get at least three years out of it and for the money, I would say that's great. Ink is a bit pricey but the quality of print is wonderful.

I found many reports of the toner carts. depleted quickly, which was worrisome for me. However I have just completed my 2nd 500 pk. of paper and the carts. shows little use. I'm using xerox 24 lb. paper and don't have any issues with curling paper. The print is clear and colors were very sharp and clear.

Good value for the money!

Having been very disappointed by 2 inkjet printers, I was looking for good quality, cost effective color printing for my home office. The Xerox Phaser 6500DN has met my needs without breaking the bank. I was concerned about duplex printing but the duplexing unit on the Phaser has been excellent so far.

Tried two other printers that were cheaper, but had issues. REturned them both and spent a bit more for this one. I wish I started here! The colors match beautifully with what my graphics are, and the print quality is outstanting.

This printer works great for general color printing and presentations. Very easy to set up and use. I can replace it every two years if needed and still be paying less than other business color printer with a maintenance agreement. Great bargan!

This printer is a high quality machine. Look for good deal on it (~$270). The cost of OEM toner is prohibitive, so use third-party cartridges for ~30% of the OEM cost and drive the cost per color copy down to ~$0.05. (Just Google laser toner supply houses). Automatic duplex works very well -- copy quality is superb. Hard to beat this printer with the caveats above. Staples delivery was excellent.
